The Super Bowl is this Sunday, football fans! You might not be excited about the Chiefs being there again, but a lot of people are excited about those fun Super Bowl prop bets. Especially in Las Vegas - arguably, the gambling capital of the world.

Super Bowl LIX Prop Bets

Some of this year's Super Bowl prop bets you can make include whether Travis Kelce will propose to Taylor Swift, whether Kendrick Lamar will mention Drake at Halftime, and which team colors Jason Kelce will wear.

The Super Bowl is definitely the best time to make stupid bets on stupid things. Here are some of the goofy "prop bets" you can make this year, along with the probability/percentages that they will actually happen.

Will He Propose, Gatorade Color And More

1. The odds of Travis Kelce proposing to Taylor Swift after the game: 16.7%. It has to be happening soon, right? I mean, they're both going to be off - perfect time to elope!

2. A coach or player will cry during the national anthem:  81.1% chance of that.

3. Coin Toss: It's always about 50/50 on this. Here's some info: Tails has won 30 times, heads has won 28 times in Super Bowl history. Tails has hit in 5 of the last 6 Super Bowls.

4. A quarterback catches a pass: 5.9%  My opinion - this one should be higher this year. Remember the Philly Special?

5. The color of the Gatorade poured on the winning coach. Always a popular bet. Purple has the best odds this year, at 32.3%. But, I'd think if the Chiefs win it will be red. If the Eagles win, that yellow/green color will be dumped.

6. Who will the MVP mention first? God or Jesus is the favorite, at 51.2%. Teammates are second.

7. Will Kendrick Lamar mention Drake during the Halftime Show: 25% chance according to the oddsmakers. They have had a feud going for a while now. Personally, I think Kendrick should surprise both of their fans, and bring him on the halftime show. Why not!

8. First celebrity cameo: A shocker, I know, but Taylor Swift is the favorite, with a 33.3% probability. Peyton Manning is second at 25%. Peyton, or paintin'?

9. What team will Jason Kelce represent? It's 59.3% likely he'll be wearing EAGLE green. He did play for them, after all, and he has said he will always root for his team. But he also said he wishes a good game for his brother.

Thank William “Refrigerator” Perry For Prop Bets

So when did prop bets start and why? The “why?” is pretty simple: More money to be made by sportsbooks in Las Vegas

Now the “when:” Prop bets started in 1986. Las Vegas oddsmakers introduced a new form of betting before Super Bowl XX, called a prop bet. And the first prop bet was, whether William “Refrigerator” Perry would score a Touchdown.

Well, Perry was called on to carry the ball - and he scored a touchdown! It cemented his place in Super Bowl history., and literally made him a legend.

The Bears defensive coordinator Buddy Ryan called Perry a wasted draft pick, and refused to play him. Perry became a fan favorite in Chicago, where he was known for his playful personality and infectious smile. Oh, and let’s not forget the iconic Superbowl Shuffle. Or maybe we should? Ok, settle down Bears fans – your time will come again. The rest, as they say, is history!

5 Great Happy Hours In Las Vegas: Keeping It Simple And Cheap

Where are the best happy hours in Las Vegas?

It's always five o'clock somewhere, right? Especially in Las Vegas. But when it comes to happy hour, let's face - you want a bargain. You want to save a little money on that drink, and those nachos.

Happy Hour Like A Las Vegas Local

The Las Vegas Strip isn’t exactly known for its bargains these days. Gone are the days of cheap drinks, and 99 cent shrimp cocktails. So let's leave the Las Vegas Strip, and be a true local.

There are some great happy hours in Las Vegas, and you don't have to go anywhere near the strip. Some of your favorite restaurants offer a great happy hour, that you may not have even known about.

In Las Vegas, restaurants with some of the best happy hour menus are no where near the Las Vegas Strip. They are in neighborhoods, strip malls, or your favorite brewery. Yes, of course, many resort restaurants have happy hours. But as a local, we're not going to the strip, or even necessarily a casino -unless we have to. Or, those cousins are visiting from Milwaukee, and they have to get a yard of margarita, and see the KISS street performers, in ass-less chaps.

Thank The US Navy For Happy Hour

You can thank the US Navy for Happy Hour. In the 1920s, after World War I, happy hours were periods of time on naval ships where sailors could participate in relaxing activities, so they could remove themselves from the toll of life at sea. Those activities were supposed to be morale boosting - mostly boxing, and other athletics.

Of course the US was in the midst of prohibition. But Americans got around that (shhhhh) by going to speakeasies to get a drink before dinner. Happy hour as we know it today!

Here Are 5 Great Happy Hours In Las Vegas

These are just 5 of the better happy hours in Las Vegas - at least some of my favorites. Remember though, happy hour deals change often, so be sure to check the restaurant’s website or social media for updates before popping in for a drink.

Las Vegas Brewing Company - 3101 North Tenaya Way

Great 'hoppy' hour specials include $5 LVBC drafts, $13 LVBC flights, $5 house wine, $6 well drinks. Sloppy Joe Sliders, fried pickles - that are AWESOME - and a really great "pubcuterie." I'm not the biggest beer drinker, but this place has some of the best beers in Las Vegas. Do a flight, and try a few!

The Spot - 8410 W. Desert Inn

The Spot has some GREAT food! And one of their favorites, and mine, is offered on their happy hour menu - their pork belly burnt ends. YUM!!!! Six chicken wings for $8. Happy hour is in the bar only, of course, and they do it from 3pm-6pm, AND again at 9pm-close.

Cheesecake Factory - 750 S. Rampart (several locations in Las Vegas)

Yes, the Cheesecake Factory. They have always had a great happy hour menu! Sliders, pot stickers, hot pretzel bites, spinach and cheese dip, fried zucchini, a happy hour burger, and tons more. Several delightful cocktails for $8.50, draft beers $4.95, bottled beer $3.95. Seriously - you can't go wrong! Try the fried zucchini - just like my grandma's!

Lazy Dog - Downtown Summerlin/1725 Festival Plaza Dr. (two locations in Las Vegas, and a new one on the way)

Lazy Dog is just a fun place overall - and you can bring your dog! Happy hour lettuce wraps, crispy brussels sprouts, buffalo cauliflower. $4 wine, $1 off their draft beers. Woof!

Echo & Rig Steakhouse - Tivoli Village/440 Rampart Boulevard

Echo & Rig is one of the best off strip steakhouses in Las Vegas, and in my opinion - still fairly reasonable. Their happy hour food menu is small, but mighty! A $3 Hotdog - the best hot dog ever! $4 Steak and egg, and Butcher fries with prime steak, homemade teriyaki, and scallions. Half off all draft & bottled beers, half off premium well liquor, $5 house wine, and always a $3 cocktail! It's great, but get there early, it gets busy!
