We all have put out stuff on the curb, but why is it that your stuff on the curb gets picked up sooner than later! That’s what The Mike & Carla Morning Show brought up this morning. It was a subject that hit home for both Mike O’Brian and Carla Rea.
So, why is it that others that put out stuff on their curb gets picked up sooner than what you put out? It’s a good question that a lot of people would like to know.
Why Your Stuff On The Curb Does Not Get Picked Up!
C’mon, our stuff is just as good as anybody else. Mike even said he always puts good stuff on the curb…we’re talking high quality stuff. Carla said the same thing…in fact, feelings tend to get hurt when random people just pass your stuff by.
That is for sure true. It’s almost like they’re judging your crap…like it’s not good enough! Are you kidding us, we have great stuff on our curb. Mike put a couple of chase lounge chairs were out there and they sat there for a couple of days.
It’s from a few years ago, but there are actually rules for “curb shopping” According to an article in houzz, it says curb appeal is everything. In other words, the article says, don’t leave a mess. If you’re hoping to get rid of stuff, present it well!
There is also a rumor that some homes get a good reputation for stuff on the curb. Once you start doing it and it seems to get picked over quickly, that’s a good sign. Chances are your house is on the “good” list!
