A new report on binge drinking found that American men are not the biggest binge-drinkers in the world. Hallelujah! Definitely NOT what we really want to be at the top of the list for. The Daily Mail report describes binge drinking as six or more drinks in one drinking “session.”
Denmark ranks first. Danes admit they like their booze. Then Romania. The U.K. comes in at number three. The United States landed at number ten. According to the fourth place number, it means twenty one percent of American women have gotten hammered in the past month.
The Daily Mail stated, U.K. ranked first at nearly 26% when it comes to females and binge drinking. The CDC reports that excessive alcohol use is a leading preventable cause of death in the United States. It can shorten lives by an average of 26 years.
