Mark Wahlberg says he might just have to retire soon, or at least slow down:

Wahlberg has been in 55 movies and produced 27 movies.  He and his family own Wahlberger restaurants throughout the country - two in Las Vegas - that are thriving. He was also with New Kids on the Block, and frontman for Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

He has a new brand of tequila- Flecha Azul Anejo Tequila - that he has been promoting. He's expressed interest in directing, which seems like it would be the next step for him.

So why would he want to retire - or just relax? Maybe he's just tired. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Wahlberg just doesn't know if he can keep going at the pace he is now. Seems like he's working harder than ever.

The 'New Kid' Is A Las Vegas Resident:

After selling his California home, 52 year old Mark Wahlberg moved his family to Las Vegas in 2022.

He purchased 2.5 acres of land last year in a beautiful, and rather exclusive area of Las Vegas, for $15.6 million. It is located in The Summit Club, a very secure area reserved for mega-mansions. Celine Dion’s primary home is also located there.

The former New Kid and his wife, Rhea Durham, have four kids. Three kids at home: sons Michael and Brendan, ages 17 and 15, and 13-year-old daughter Grace. Their eldest child, daughter Ella, is 20.

When he moved to Las Vegas he talked about wanting to build a state of the art studio. He has also spoken, very openly over the years, about his faith, and his belief in the strength of his Christianity.

There's Still Plenty Of Wahlberg Out There:

If you're afraid of not seeing enough of Mark Wahlberg, no need to worry. There are plenty of movies to see him in, like The Departed, Boogie Nights, and The Italian Job. Here are some of my favorites.

Or you can go old school with the Good Vibrations video. And of course, let's not forget that iconic Calvin Klein ad.

Needless to say, there is a lot of Mark Wahlberg out there. So, enjoy - and let him relax a bit.

Celebrities You Didn’t Know Were From Nevada

The biggest celebrities don't come from Hollywood - many are from right here in Nevada!

When I was a kid I thought if you were born in Los Angeles - Hollywood, to be exact - you were just born a celebrity. I thought all actors and actresses were, and had to be, from L.A. Growing up, and maturing (sort of) over time - and my Mom telling me otherwise - they are not.

Living in Nevada we’re all familiar with, and run into quite a few famous people, but you may not realize how many are actually from the Silver State. Many people from a variety of fields: Actors, athletes, musicians are from our own state.

We know the standard Las Vegas, and Nevada performers, who almost seem like they are from here - Wayne Newton, Sinatra, Liberace, etc. But there are a lot of celebrities that were born here in Nevada, or were here from childhood, and actually got their start here -at Las Vegas Academy, Bishop Gorman, or Reno High School!

Some you might know of course, but others may be a surprise. Or at least a "no way!" You watched them in your favorite shows, you watched them compete, you watched them try to help make the country a better place, and you went to their concerts.

Take a look at this list of celebs who got their start right in our backyard!
