With this in mind, there are three big ones planned for this month on successive weekends. Let’s check them out!
First Up: The Annual Greek Food Festival
By and large, my wife and I have been attending the annual Greek Food Festival since the 1990’s. We love it! The crowds are huge, and yes, there are long lines, but overall it’s worth the wait. Live bands perform traditional Greek music throughout the day and into the evening hours. There is also plenty of shopping to do for Greek pastries, Grecian artwork, clothing and jewelry as you browse in the market and bazaar.
This year, it’s the 50th Annual Greek Food Festival taking place at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. You should plan on taking a tour through this beautiful church building. It’s magnificent. It’s located at 5300 El Camino Road in Las Vegas, 89118. Furthermore, this year’s three-day festival takes place Friday, September 15th through Sunday, September 17th. Festival hours are 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. Friday, and Noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Second Food Festival In Las Vegas: The Bi-Annual San Gennaro Italian Feast
Once again this year, the amazing San Gennaro Feast takes place at M Resort in the southern Las Vegas and Henderson area. This five-day festival goes from Wednesday, September 20th through Sunday, September 24th. If you love Italian food, Italian music, and a fun, festive atmosphere, you’ll really enjoy the San Gennaro Feast.
Moreover, the San Gennaro Feast in Las Vegas doesn’t only celebrate Italian food and music. There will be 70 international food vendors serving up delicious meals and snacks. Additionally, your kids will love the fact that there will be 60 amusement rides and games to keep them having fun. And music lovers get to enjoy 40 live bands and performers.

Third One: Great American Foodie Fest
The Great American Foodie Fest is one of the largest food-oriented festivals in the western United States. This year’s event takes place at the Orleans Hotel & Casino Harmon parking lot. The three-day Foodie Fest will run from Friday September 29th through October 1st.
It’s important to remember that the Great American Foodie Fest celebrates a wide variety of ethnic and American foods. You can expect to sample Latin fare, Asian cuisine, fair food, and tasty snacks and desserts.
The Great American Foodie Fest also features carnival rides and games, food eating contests, a beer and cocktail garden, and best of all, some of the nation’s top food trucks.

We hope you enjoy all three food festivals in Las Vegas this month. Opa! Mangia! Cheers!
