Celebrities In Las Vegas We Don’t Recognize
You know them, you see them, they are those celebrities in Las Vegas we don’t recognize? Of course, we’re talking outside their comfort zone. For example, besides a few Vegas Golden Knight players, would you recognize some of the lesser known? Same goes for the Raiders…would you recognize some of the players if you saw them out and about?
The reason this came up on The Mike & Carla Morning Show…during the NHL Draft yesterday, a “hockey” podcaster ended up interviewing the GM of the Chicago Blackhawks without even realizing it. Keep in mind, this was on the street and the guy has a baseball cap on backward, wearing just t-shirt and jeans. Now we understand that’s a tough recognize, but if you are a “hockey” podcaster, shouldn’t you have an idea of who’s who?
Who Are Those Celebrities We Just Don’t Recognize?
But that’s what we wanted to know this morning. Who is it that you’ve seen on the streets here in Las Vegas and they look like somebody, but you just can’t think of it? Quite a few come to mind…Mike O’Brian had his own story of passing a guy on the escalator at the airport. Turned out to be Michael Rappaport. He was on “Friends” for a while as Phoebe’s police friend.
Carla Rea had a great one from a few years back when this tall stranger came up to her to say he saw her show and thought she was funny. Once again, at the airport and having a million things going on. He was very complimentary, but just couldn’t ID the guy. Carla comes to find out it was NFL Hall of Famer/Actor Fred Dryer!
