There are a few things that always seem they should be illegal to us, but they're not. According to a recent article published in Reader's Digest, there are quite a few things that come to mind. This was the topic this morning with The Mike & Carla Morning Show.

One big example would be passing a cop car. While we don't encourage you to blow by a cop car on the road, but to pass one doing the speed limit is fine. When you do do it, it does feel like it's illegal, but it's NOT! It's also okay to fill-up you cup at a fast food place right before you leave...it doesn't seem right, but it's okay!

So, that's what The M&C Morning Show threw out there this morning and quite a few listeners responded. Going to a brothel for example, not illegal, but it seems to be right? Or just stopping off to use a bathroom at a convenient store or gas station. Why is it when we do it, we feel just a little weird?

Carla Rea mentioned going into a store, while you're not able to find what you're looking for, then walking out. This happened to her a few days ago and she said she felt like she was being scrutinized by the employees. It was like she was doing something wrong...uh, not really, just couldn't find what I was looking for!

And that's what we are talking about. Those situations you find yourself in...you are perfectly fine doing what you are doing, but it just seems weird. Why is that. Why is it we feel just a bit uncomfortable when we really shouldn't feel that way.

The big one though is ripping off the tag on your new mattress. Go ahead, and remove that mattress tag. You see, it's not really illegal! In fact the tag is there for commerce purposes. Its removal is illegal only if you do it before purchased by the consumer. Ah Ha! So don't be afraid to get a little crazy and refill that cup of soda, go ahead and use the bathroom or rip the tag off!

All this is included in the segment below from this morning!
