Beavis and Butt-Head have a lot in store for fans as evident in the trailer for the second season of Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head. The biggest development? The two BFFs exchange vows and become husband and husband!

A preview of the season's hijinx can be viewed below. As for their nuptials, Butt-Head can be heard saying at the end of the trailer, "This is the happiest day of my life." As for the rest of the season, a press release from Paramount+ states, "Beavis and Butt-Head triumphantly return as two guys who like things that are cool and don’t like things that suck."

Season 2 Trailer

Earlier this month, it was announced Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head was premiering on April 20 -- aka: 4/20. The date has long been synonymous with cannabis enthusiasts. Appropriately, the teaser stated, "This 4/20, we've got another reason not to leave the couch."

The Beavis and Butt-Head renaissance has brought other topics related to the show to the forefront. One topic, in particular, is how the titular (huh...) characters pretty much ended the career of Winger.

In an interview on the In the Trenches podcast in January', former Winger guitarist Reb Beach was asked whether the duo factored into the group disbanding. He said it did. Beach added that shortly after Stuart was introduced on the show and wearing a Winger shirt, " ... We had to cancel the tour because people wouldn't be caught dead buying a ticket to a Winger show."

Of course, there was a force before Beavis & Butt-Head that helped turn the tide against Winger: Metallica. The band famously featured Lars Ulrich in the video for "Nothing Else Matters" throwing darts at a Kip Winger poster. (The clip is also featured in the 1992 documentary A Year and A Half with Metallica.)

"Metallica didn't help with showing in their biggest video they throw darts at a poster of Kip Winger," said Beach. "They would show it at their live show, and my friend who went to see them said the entire arena laughed at that part of the video where Lars throws darts at Kip."

Five Hilarious Beavis And Butt-Head Moments

March 8, 1993, quite frankly, the world changed. It is on that day that Mike Judge creations Beavis And Butt-Head graced the airwaves of MTV and soon thereafter became a pop culture phenomenon. (Fun fact: Their popularity led to them appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone three times.)

While we could provide a sprawling list of great moments, for the sake of you, the reader, here are five of our favorite hilarious Beavis And Butt-Head moments.

When They Bullied Stewart Into Finding Them Some Internet Porn

Poor Stewart…he was just too weak to stand up to the pressures from Beavis and Butt-Head to find free porn on their high school’s library computer.

That Time They Were On Late Show With David Letterman

Yes…even Beavis and Butt-Head have to do press for their own film.  They even brought and set up a clip from Beavis and Butt-Head Do America!

That Airplane Scene From Beavis and Butt-Head Do America

The old lady who can’t wait to play the “slots,” Butt-Head falling in love with a flight attendant, and an appearance from The Great Cornholio makes this excerpt pretty perfect.

That Time They Presented An Oscar

For real…this happened, and we’re sure Bruce Stambler was thrilled that his hard work in Sound Effects Editing was being presented by the likes of Beavis and Butt-Head. Nonetheless, it’s still pretty funny.

That Time They Hosted A Thanksgiving Special With Kurt Loder

Kurt Loder, a legitimately serious journalist for MTV News, wasn’t even immune to getting involved with the music network’s biggest stars.   Clearly, he was a pretty good sport about it…even though he never scored.
