That's the reason The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to talk about cereal this morning. What was your favorite cereal as a kid. Is it still your favorite or have you moved on to a more grownup brand?
Mike O'Brian mentioned Sugar Frosted Flakes as his favorite kid cereal. On the other hand Carla Rea favored Rice Krispies. Both agreed on Raisin Bran as their go to cereal as adults.

It was a part of a line of "monster" branded cereals at the time. It also featured Franken Berry, Count Chocula. The woman bought them for her kids thinking they would love it. After a taste test as an adult, she admitted they were awful and tasted like cardboard!
A lot of listeners made the same statement that their favorite cereal was good in a bowl of milk or grabbing a handful out of the box dry! Even as a kid, it was a true testament to your favorite brand that it was good either way.
