It's Spring Break and you get the call! Then it begins, the parents debate on bailing their kid out of jail. The Mike & Carla Morning Show brought this situation up. M&C wanted to get some input from other parents...would you bail the kid out?

Now in defense of the parents, they did warn the kid NOT to get in trouble. Yeah, that would really work right? But he's 19, in college on Spring Break and having fun. So mom and dad decided to let him sit in jail for a couple of days. Hopefully to teach the kid a lesson.

On the other hand, some relatives aren't happy with their decision. The kid's grandmother thinks it's terrible that the parents would not help the kid out with bail money.

So as a parent, what would you do? Have you been in that situation as a parent? Have you been in that situation as the "kid"? We can tell you right now that a majority of parents said to leave him in there.

But it was interesting how many people called in when they were the same place as the kid! Some interesting stories and a good example of a "double" standard in one family. The daughter gets busted and has to sit behind bars, the brother gets in trouble...mommy and daddy bail him out!

It does happen, but it was good to see a lot of the listeners calling in making the kid accountable. M&C really thought a lot of parents would say bail him out, talk to him and there ends the lesson.

If you have been in this place, then take a couple of minutes and listen to the segment. Maybe, just maybe, it might help you out in knowing what to do when this happens. It's all good stuff, so take notes and enjoy!
