Mariah Carey has the most famous Christmas song out there. It's heard and played almost everywhere during the holiday season. She makes millions in royalties each year for "All I Want For Christmas Is You", but is that enough for her?  Apparently not! Mariah now wants to trademark the phrase "Queen of Christmas" not because she feels she deserves it, but most likely to monopolize more on the holiday season. Lots of people agree with her, but one person doesn't. Her name is Elizabeth Chan. Chan is trying to stop Mariah from getting this trademark because she says, "Not one person should hold onto anything around Christmas or monopolize it in the way that Mariah seeks to in perpetuity."

You're probably wondering who is Elizabeth Chan and why does she have a voice in this whole thing? Chan is a singer who only does Christmas music. She's even called herself The "Queen of Christmas" and has an album title of the same. Chan isn't trying to stop Mariah from trademarking it because she wants money, she's doing it because doesn't want Mariah to be the only one to be able to use it.

Mariah is said to want to trademark the phrase for a bunch of things including clothing, liquor, to animal products.
