TRAILER: ‘Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe’

Beavis and Butt-Head fans are finally getting a look at the dynamic duo's new movie, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe.

Embedded below is the film's trailer, and it looks just as absurd as you think considering the film's plot. Per the description on YouTube, "In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-head are sentenced to Space Camp by a 'creative' judge in 1998, leading to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don't score."

Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe hits Paramount+ on June 23.

As previously reported, the new Beavis and Butt-Head revival series originally slated for Comedy Central will now happen on Paramount+, which will also be the exclusive home of the series' original 200 episode run that will be remastered for the streaming service.

March 8, 1993, quite frankly, the world changed. It is on that day that Mike Judge creations Beavis And Butt-Head graced the airwaves of MTV and soon thereafter became a pop culture phenomenon. (Fun fact: Their popularity led to them appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone three times.)

While we could provide a sprawling list of great moments, for the sake of you, the reader, here are five of our favorite hilarious Beavis And Butt-Head moments.

Yes…even Beavis and Butt-Head have to do press for their own film.  They even brought and set up a clip from Beavis and Butt-Head Do America!

The old lady who can’t wait to play the “slots,” Butt-Head falling in love with a flight attendant, and an appearance from The Great Cornholio makes this excerpt pretty perfect.

For real…this happened, and we’re sure Bruce Stambler was thrilled that his hard work in Sound Effects Editing was being presented by the likes of Beavis and Butt-Head. Nonetheless, it’s still pretty funny.

Kurt Loder, a legitimately serious journalist for MTV News, wasn’t even immune to getting involved with the music network’s biggest stars.   Clearly, he was a pretty good sport about it…even though he never scored.
