This year's Oscars In Memoriam segment honoring artists and industry people we have lost over the past year included tributes to Betty White, Sidney Poitier, and Ivan Reitman, they still managed to leave some highly visible people out.. including actors Bob Saget and Ed Asner.

According to Variety, Bob Saget did have who had a small handful of film appearances in movies, including Richard Pryor's Critical Condition. Saget did win a student Oscar for his 1977 documentary Through Adam's Eyes.

Comedian Norm McDonald was also left out of the segment. He had roles in several movies over the years like Dr. Dolittle, Grown Ups, Billy Madison, and Back to Norm.

Most of the omissions were from actors that primarily worked in TV.

After the segment, the Oscars wrote that "Many More" was lost over the last year and directed viewers to a page on their website here.

While Ed Asner's name does appear there, Bob Saget and Norm McDonald are still missing.
