‘Shark Tank’s’ Kevin O’Leary’s Wife, Linda, Charged in Fatal Boat Crash

As reported last month, Shark Tank star Kevin O'Leary and his wife, Linda, were in a boating accident in Ontario, Canada that left two dead and three injured. Now Linda O'Leary is in trouble over the fatal crash.

According to NBC News, Linda O'Leary was officially charged with careless operation of a vehicle. O'Leary was driving when their boat collided with a larger boat, flipped over, and struck a man in the head. Gary Poltash was killed in the crash. Susanne Brito was hospitalized for injuries during the accident and later died in the hospital. This event occurred August 24 on Lake Joseph.

Kevin O'Leary said that the larger boat they collided with "had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene."

A DUI test was done after the accident, and Linda passed.

Kevin and Linda O'Leary have released a statement since the investigation concluded. "Now that the authorities have concluded their thorough investigation, I have no further other than to say that our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of those who lost loved ones in this awful tragedy. Our hearts go out to them," they said.
