Halloween is close to a month away, and the candy is already on the shelves. But before you head out to do your buying, you should know there are some candy choices that will make you the neighborhood hero. And other candy that might just get your house egged. Yougov.com surveyed 1000 kids most likely to trick or treat, and here's what they found out:

By a landslide, kids want Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. A whopping 18% picked that as their favorite.

Snickers, Kit Kat, and M&M's came in second at 7-8%, as did Sour Patch Kids.

Mid-range candies included Skittles, Twix and Hershey Bar at 5-6% and Milky Way and Starburst at 3%.

Nerds, Butterfinger, Nestle Crunch, Smarties and Candy Corn almost came in last, at 2% each.

Tootsie Rolls...dead last. Only 1% of kids want that noise.

Happy Shopping!
