Just imagine Weird Al introducing himself to people. "I have five Grammy Awards...and a dirt road with my name on it". There is a dirt road in Darwin Minnesota that is now called "Weird Alley". It took Darwin 30 years to show Yankovic some love for making them famous, but they did it. He gave the town a huge nod with his 1989 song The Biggest Ball of Twine In Minnesota. While Yankovic never named the actually city in the song, Darwin is where the ball of twine lives. Maybe he couldn't find something to rhyme with Darwin?

In any case, Darwin is home to 350 residents and their mayor, Josh Johnson, says they just wanted to show their appreciation for the man who put them on the map. You can retire now, Al. Your job here is done. Here's the odds and ends of it...
