It's corny, it's cheesy, it's so David. When Roth left Van Halen in 1985, it was to pursue a solo career. People knew about his solo album Crazy From The Heat, but few were privy to the movie of the same name. Written and directed by, and starring, Mr. Roth himself. Eventually the movie (and solo career) fizzled and, of course, Roth returned to Van Halen (the first time) in 1996.

But what happened to the movie script? Well, it's made it's way to the public eye. It's 77-pages of pure Diamond Dave, in all its sunscreen and silicon glory. It's pretty much the essence of California Girls bottled up and spilled on typing paper.
