Rolling Stone magazine just released this collection of interviews from people who were involved in the tour. Prince recalls this year as one of the most significant of his career. After the expected success of the Purple Rain movie, Prince and his crew embarked on a 98-concert tour that almost could have given a Broadway musical a run for its money.

It's really cool to read the memories of the people that were involved in the tour. They take us backstage through the process of preparing for and being on the tour with Prince. Check it out:
