Congratulations to the 2023 Jingle Bell Rock Winners
Gianni Giancola via BMG Las Vegas96.3 KKLZ's Jingle Bell Rock, sponsored by Meineke Car Care Centers - Doing Car Care Right, has been FOUND! That's right.
Better luck next year to all of our official, JBR Rock Hunters.
A BIG congratulations to Angela, Johanna, Melissa and Logan who found 2023's Jingle Bell Rock. They are $10,000 richer.
The Jingle Bell Rock was found and secured in Henderson, Nevada. See below on the map where they found it! The winning family found the rock within the first 12 hours of the rock being hidden.
There were two JBR on-air clues that helped them locate the rock's location. Both have a few relating attributes.
The group has been searching for the rock every year since the initiation of Jingle Bell Rock. Searching or as many of you know, "hunting" for the rock has become a family tradition for them.
Angela and her late husband would take their older daughter Melissa who was in college at the time. Years later, their daughter, Johanna moved out to Vegas and the tradition expanded to more members of the family.
Now, searching for the JBR has been passed down to Johanna's son, Logan, who helped locate the rock.
The four of them had to be strategic as they haven't been successful in locating the rock in years past. Their overall plan was to, "look at the bigger picture" rather than overthink on every single clue.
Johanna was the one who first found the rock and it was a very joyous and full-circle moment.
Their sister, Melissa, broke the cardinal rule of taking a vacation during rock drop. She has been forgiven and is also very excited about the find.
The family took daily trips to Meineke Car Care Centers - Doing Car Care Right to get their free daily clue.
They also appreciated the newly added Double Bonus Clue even though the additional clues didn't help them in the ways that they were hoping.
Thank you to everyone who participated in searching for the Jingle Bell Rock 2023.
We can't wait to return with even more fun in 2024!

See The Map!
The Jingle Bell Rock was found at the end of Wagon Wheel and Foothills Drive. The family was originally looking further north of where the rock was hidden. It was the horses in the area that drew them to the winning destination.
Two Clues Helped Them The Most:
Here are the two on-air clues that helped secure the rock. Both clues were one day a part and announced around 7:10 a.m.
WEDNESDAY 11/29 - 7:10AM - "RING THE BELL, THEN RUN"
TUESDAY 11/28 - 7:10 A.M. - "EVERYONE STARTS AT THE SAME TIME"
What Are They Going To Spend The Money On?
The family is going to evenly split the money amongst their family. Watch below on specifics! We hope that they have a wonderful holiday season.
Backstory: How They Got Started Finding The Rock
See how the family tradition led them to become $10,000 richer. A family that searches together, stays together.
Their Thoughts On The Double Bonus Clue
Johanna spent three hours one day trying to find a clue. She thought it was a "really cool twist." See which area of Vegas, Johanna says, many of Double Bonus Clues led a lot of Jingle Bell Rock hunters.
Tips For Future Rock Hunters
Here are a couple of tips for future Jingle Bell Rock hunters. We hope these help! Thank you to Angela, Johanna, Melissa and Logan for sharing.
