A Very Unique Valentines Day Flight
Here's a unique Valentine's Day idea. CNN did a story on a hot air balloon company in California that offers to let you join, well - the Mile High Club. Yes - I said the Mile High Club. Oh, it's definitely unique!
If you have *ahem* performance anxiety, this probably isn't for you. However, the pilot will be behind a curtain, with earmuffs on, to give you some privacy.
So, if you're not afraid of heights, and a little bit of a perv, this might be the unique Valentine's Day idea you're looking for.
Join The Mile High Club For Valentines Day On This Special Flight
Most flights really don't want you to join the Mile High Club. But Magical Adventure Balloon Rides, based about 90 miles southeast of L.A, in Temecula, California, is encouraging you to join! And why not? It seems that anything goes now.
On this flight, you won't even have to hide what you're doing. I mean, it's called the Mile High Flight, because they know that's exactly what you're up there to do.
Yes, there is a pilot with you. But not to worry. He or she will be behind a screen with earmuffs on, not even paying attention to what you're doing. Suuuuuure...
Their balloons normally stop around 3,000 feet up. But their Mile-High trip goes to 5,280 feet to give you the full experience. at exactly a mile in the air. YIKES!
The whole flight is three hours long. Pricing for two passengers wanting the mile high romance, starts at $1,400. Or if you're really getting freaky, you can bring a third person for an extra $159. Or a fourth for another $159. They say the basket fits up to 10 people. I would imagine that is standing up, though.
It's weird, it's different, and - no, it's really just weird. But hey - who am I to judge?
Join the Mile High Club and let your freak flag fly - a mile in the sky!
