Ever since Taylor Swift starting dating an NFL player Travis Kelce, we've had to hear again about the politics surrounding the pop singer. Specifically the controversary around her endorsing one political candidate over another in the 2020 election. And since Swift is very much in the NFL spotlight this year, the topic of who she'll endorse in this year's election has surfaced all over the media.

Forget Politics, Endorsing Travis Kelce Might Actually Be What Gets Taylor Swift In Hot Water Right Now

After Super Bowl LVIII, Taylor Swift might actually get less backlash endorsing a political candidate. And more controversary if she endorses her football star boyfriend, Travis Kelce. At least from the fans who aren't crazy about how Kelce acted during the game.

Even before Patrick Mahomes lead the Kansas City Chiefs to another Super Bowl victory, social media was blowing up about Kelce's behavior during the game. The Chiefs' tight end is known for his temper. He was caught on video on Christmas Day throwing his helmet on the sidelines in an off-field temper tantrum worthy of a preschooler.

https://twitter.com/NFLonCBS/status/1739366591341490455?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1739366591341490455%7Ctwgr%5Eb5c56bdaf7173a060af0e605db522a5cb590b3cf%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cbssports.com%2Fnfl%2Fnews%2Fchiefs-travis-kelce-throws-tantrum-vs-raiders-star-te-slams-helmet-on-sideline-during-christmas-day-loss%2F

And that obvious display of frustration had some people questioning Kelce's ability to control his anger. But it was his meltdown at Super Bowl LVIII that now has everyone labeling Kelce some very unflattering names. This time Kelce was caught on video harshly grabbing Chief's Head Coach Andy Reid while screaming in Reid's face. Kelce had to be physically removed by his teammates.

Social Media's Reaction To Travis Kelce's Outburst

Some people just wrote off Kelce's behavior as passion or minimized it by laughing it off. The NFL, themselves, calling Kelce "less than enthused" about the play that just happened on the field.

https://twitter.com/NFLonCBS/status/1756838434591621134?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1756841953834995988%7Ctwgr%5Eb6527904390ff22dbb846f1a9f705decd28bfef6%7Ctwcon%5Es3_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fchiefswire.usatoday.com%2Flists%2Fkansas-city-chiefs-twitter-reacts-to-travis-kelce-fiery-sideline-outburst-in-super-bowl-lviii%2F

Others, however, were pretty outraged by his behavior. Calling the star football player a jerk, a spoiled brat, and reprimanding him for shoving 65-year old Reid the way he did. Some are even warning Taylor Swift, saying Kelce's outburst is a red flag she shouldn't ignore.

When it comes to Kelce and Reid, though, they're good. Those two have known each other for over a decade. And Reid knows Kelce just gets competitive during the game. Reid said Kelce apologized to him after the game, Yahoo!Sports reported.

Will It Be A Cruel Summer For Travis? Or Will Taylor Be Able To Shake It Off?

It's the Swifties, though, that Kelce might need to worry about. Taylor Swift didn't seem to be affected by Kelce's temper during the Super Bowl. She was kissing all over him after the game and cheering him on during the presentation of the Lombardi Trophy. Even during his very obnoxious rendition of Viva Las Vegas and You Gotta Fight For Your Right To Party.

So, will this be a case of liking whatever Taylor likes, for Swift fans? Will the Swifties turn the other cheek and accept Kelce like she does? Or will they demand Swift's estrangement from Kelce for his sideline scorn?

We're not sure, but knowing Taylor Swift's magical effect on her fans, we're going to bet it's the former. But if there's ever a break-up song written about Travis Kelce, he might want to lay low for a while. No one wants to mess with a stadium full of angry Swifties. - Wendy Rush

The Moments Leading Up To Super Bowl LVIII In Las Vegas

It's half an hour before kick off for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. The energy in the air is palpable. Tourists and locals alike have packed the Las Vegas Strip. All anxiously waiting for the game to begin.

Predictable Faces In The Crowd At Super Bowl LVIII

As with all Super Bowl games, we're seeing celebrities pouring in. And there are some very familiar faces in the crowd. Jay Z is back this year, this time with both his daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi. He brought Blue Ivy to last year's big game.

Lebron James is back in the crowd wearing his baseball hat. Paul Rudd is smiling and shaking hands with others in the crowd. His beard almost rivaling that of Travis Kelce at this game. Almost.

And of course, the one that everyone was wondering about...Taylor Swift is in the crowd. Not only there, but there early. Looking very calm and collected. Like she didn't just come off a twelve hour flight from Tokyo after performing last night.

High Energy In Las Vegas Before The Game

LVIII signs are plastered all over Allegiant Stadium. And showing support both for the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. And the fans are super excited as they pour into the stadium sporting their gear for their team.

Traffic on the I-15 adjacent to Allegiant Stadium is backed up as drivers slow down to get a glimpse of all the excitement. Some even swerving as they try to capture video of the action. I rolled down my window when driving on that stretch of the freeway and I could hear the crowd cheering on both sides of the road. Allegiant to my right, the Las Vegas Strip to my left.

It's history in the making. The Super Bowl in Las Vegas. Hopefully it will be the first of many. We're ready for it. Let's play! - Wendy Rush
