Gen Xers, rejoice, as MTV's Beavis And Butt-Head is slated to return as a brand new movie on Paramount+.

Beavis And Butt-Head creator Mike Judge took to Twitter to announce the news, tweeting out on Tuesday (Jan. 4), "Beavis and Butt-Head will be returning this year with a brand new movie and more on Paramount+. No exact date yet, but soon. They need some time to get back in shape."

Judge also tweeted a sketch of the series' the two lead characters showing them as middle-aged men, so fans are thinking the two might appear much older in the new film. It has been a few decades, after all. Judge will write, produce and do voiceovers for both characters.

Beavis And Butt-Head debuted in 1993 and became one of the decade's most popular adult cartoons. The series revolved around two teenage couch potatoes, "Beavis" and "Butt-Head"- something to which the latchkey generation could relate.
