Seinfeld is finally hitting Netflix this fall after the streaming giant secured the global streaming rights to the iconic sitcom back in 2019.

All 180 episodes of the series will begin streaming on Netflix beginning October 1. Netflix announced the news via the trailer below inviting subscribers to get ready for "...2021's hottest new show. Well, not actually new but never seen before on Netflix...created by rising stars Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld."

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix paid a whopping $500 million dollars for the global streaming rights for Seinfeld, whose previous streaming home for the past six years was Hulu.

The Hollywood Reporter also noted, "Netflix’s deal for 'Seinfeld' marks the first time global streaming rights to the show are with a single platform. Hulu’s deal for the comedy only covered domestic streaming, while Amazon held rights in a number of international territories."
