Now that The Falcon And The Winter Solider is at its halfway point, Marvel fans are looking forward to the next Marvel Cinematic Universe show that will air on Disney+, Loki.

Minor spoilers ahead for those who haven't seen Avengers: Infinity War
and Avengers: Endgame.

Tom Hiddleston's Loki was killed in the beginning scene of Infinity War (which took place just moments after the bonus scene of Thor: Ragnarok). But in Endgame, the Avengers (Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and Ant-Man) travel back to the "Battle For New York," as depicted in the first Avengers film). Things didn't go according to plan, and Loki escaped, with the Tesseract. Loki picks up from there.

Now, the Time Variance Authority seems to want Loki to help fix the timeline that he's damaged. "We protect the proper flow of time," Owen Wilson’s Mobius M. Mobius tells Loki in the trailer, welcoming him to the bureaucratic Time Variance Authority. “You picked up the Tesseract, breaking reality. I want you to help us fix it.”

It appears in the trailer that Loki and his keepers at the TVA travel all over time and space. At one point,  Loki gloats, “It is adorable that you think you could possibly manipulate me. I’m ten steps ahead of you.”

Loki premieres Friday, June 11. Watch the trailer below.

Brian has been working in pop culture and media for about three decades: he’s worked at MTV, VH1, SiriusXM, CBS and Loudwire. Besides working as a writer and an editor-in-chief, he’s also appeared on air as a pundit, guested on radio shows and hosted podcasts. Over the years, he’s interviewed the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, the members of U2, Beyonce, Pink, Usher, Stevie Nicks, Lorde… and is grateful to have had the chance to interview Joe Strummer of the Clash and Tom Petty.
