Poor Melo has spent most of his life in and out of shelters. He's not a bad dog, he's just a bit misunderstood. At 7-years-old, Melo is looking for the right family who is willing to work with his quirks. He'll do better with an adult-only home or with older children, and he needs to be the only pet. Melo enjoys doing puzzles and training exercises every day. He's very smart and loves being challenged. He's sensitive which can come off as aloof at times. However, once he knows you, he can be silly and playful. He's an independent pup who seeks attention on his terms (he's a bit of a cat that way). Melo is also very particular about his music. Whenever he hops in the car for a ride around town, he requests that the Rock station be changed to Ol' Blue Eyes himself.
