David Crosby took a lot of heat for his recent "Meh...." tweet when asked what he thought of Eddie Van Halen. However, he's followed up with a rather interesting explanation.

Crosby tweeted, "Yes, you Van Halen fans, I did just toss off an answer that was not cool. The even more embarrassing truth is I didn't even remember he had just died or I would have kept my mouth shut. I do make mistakes. No offense intended."

Yes, it seems weird that Crosby could forget that EVH had just died. However, taking into account everything we know about Crosby (i.e. his history with substances), it sort of makes sense. Give him credit for admitting he made a mistake, too. That type of humility is hard to find anywhere, much less in a legendary musician.
