Henry Cavill will be back as Superman according to Deadline. The actor, who played Superman in 2013's Man Of Steel, 2016's Batman v. Superman and 2017's Justice League, is in talks to reprise his role in the DC Extended Universe.

There are no details at this time, and no Superman film is currently scheduled, but he could play the Man of Steel in a cameo in one of the upcoming films in the DCEU, including Aquaman 2 or Shazam 2 (there was a Superman cameo in the first Shazam film, but we never saw his face, as Cavill didn't play the role int he film). Cavill currently has the lead role in the hit Netflix series Witcher.

Henry made a couple of posts to Instagram about coming back as the Man of Steel.

Last week he posted, "Just had a little chat with Zack Snyder after a man of steel watch party. Ladies and Gents, it finally happened. The Snyder cut will be out next year! Now, I know there have been two camps over the whole Snyder Cut thing and whether it will ever happen for a while. Just remember, we all get to have more Justice League now, it's a win win. So, be nice to each other ;). Big congratulations to you, Mr Snyder! #ReleaseTheSnyderCut #ZackSnyder"

Then just today (5/29), Cavill posted a photo of work out equipment, hinting that he's back in shape for the role, saying, "Hello, Old friend."
