It's been going on for a few days now, and it's dividing households everywhere! Which is better, Friends or Seinfeld? So, I went around our office and polled everyone. There seems to be a pretty polarized view of the two sitcoms, and it appears gender has a lot to do with the results. All but one woman in our building said they prefer Friends, and none of our guys said they'd choose it over Seinfeld.

So what makes Friends a "chick show"? Is it because we (yes, I'm in the category of women who prefers Friends, though I do like the occasional Seinfeld episode) have hunkier guys on Friends than Seinfeld does? Is it because Friends delves into deeper emotional issues than Seinfeld does? Who knows? But the results speak for themselves.

Twitter had a lot to say on the subject too, obviously. Check out the results. - Wendy Rush
