Schon usually has an extended solo during Journey shows, and during the band’s gig at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida on August 17, he had a lovely slideshow of photos of Franklin projected during his solo moment.
On Instagram, Schon said of Franklin, “She was the best and huge inspiration not only as an artist but kind to all.”
