Since Jerry Stiller turns 91 today (June 8,) consider this a “Festivus in June” celebration!

Besides aiding in bringing the pop culture/comedy world Ben Stiller, Jerry Stiller’s turn as Frank Costanza on Seinfeld might be one of the best, most absurdly brilliant comedic characters in television history.  Frank is responsible for many great Seinfeld moments, but “Festivus” is easily his finest hour (or half hour, so to speak.)

A protest holiday that takes place on December 23 in response to the commercialization of Christmas created by Costanza, “Festivus” is now playfully celebrated by many Seinfeld fans the world over.  That alone could potentially be considered a “Festivus miracle.”

In honor of Stiller’s birthday, please enjoy the video below chronically the history of this great holiday
