Well, this could stop those scalpers for good, huh?

Ticketmaster is working with Blink Identity to create a set up for using your face as a digital ticket in the future.

LiveNation's CEO announced the effort in a statement to investors, sharing that " It is very notable that today we announce our partnership with, and investment in, Blink Identity which has cutting-edge facial recognition technology, enabling you to associate your digital ticket with your image, then just walk into the show."

According to The Verge, Blink Identity claims that they can identify people within “half a second,” even if they aren’t looking directly at a camera - which honestly sounds more creepy than comforting right now. *Cue the Black Mirror*

Considering that some people buy tickets as gifts, you have to wonder if this tech would actually work or stick.
