A bunch of major movies that impact our daily life and culture still today that turn 30 in 2023 include Jurassic Park, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the perfect date movie, Sleepless In Seattle. 1993 was also the year we were introduced to Free Willy, Groundhog Day, and the Matthew McConaughey career launcher Dazed & Confused.
How can we forget the original Hocus, Pocus, which in 2022 finally had the much talked about and beloved sequel 29 years after the classic? We were also introduced to The Sandlot in 1993, as well as the beloved Rudy and the movie that won Stephen Speilberg his very first Oscar, Schindler's List.
