Summertime is coming and there is no better place to cool down than Lake Mead. The Lake provides an outlet for families to come enjoy to get away from the Vegas heat. This past weekend Lake Mead Marina hosted a party for boat lovers of all ages. Did you know? Lake Mead National Recreation Area originated in 1936 and was originally named the Boulder Dam Recreation area, according to NPS.gov.

96.3 KKLZ’s Producer Morty headed down to the marina for their boat sale weekend party. We partied with the boating community from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Boats of all sizes, makes and models were there. They had Sea Rays, Crusiers Yachts, Monteryes, Formulas and more. Lake Mead Marina was hosting their lowest rate of the year. There are plenty of options including used boats, rentals and other offers.
