Def Leppard’s Phil Collen ‘Really Confident’ Stadium Tour Will Happen in 2021

Def Leppard was on tap to have a massive 2020 alongside Motley Crue, Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts with the Stadium Tour, but the coronavirus pandemic derailed that. However, with the COVID-19 vaccine being distributed, Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen is optimistic the tour will happen in 2021.

In an appearance on The Jeremy White Podcast, Collen said, "I'm really confident, if they get the vaccine rolled out. It's the same way anywhere around the world. You go, 'Hey, are you coming to so and so?' Well, I don't know if we're allowed to travel and whether we would be allowed on the plane or even in that country. So, it's looking good — or not. We really don't know. It really comes down to how everyone deals with approaching this pandemic and stuff."

Back in June 2020, all four acts on the Stadium Tour released a joint statement announcing their tour would be postponed until 2021 and then shortly thereafter announced a batch of rescheduled tour dates. The 2021 Stadium Tour is currently slated to kick off on June 19 in Nashville and wrap up on September 12 in San Diego. The full list of dates can be viewed below.
