These days, most movie trailers feature a bunch of quick cuts, highlights and potential spoilers. IT Chapter 2 takes a very different approach. Sometimes slow, quiet and creepy is more effective than fast, noisy and gory, and that's definitely the case here.

The first two minutes and seventeen seconds of the trailer is one full scene, showing an adult Beverly (played by Jessica Chastain) returning to the down of Derry where she meets a kind, older lady who (shocker!) isn't what she initially appears to be.

The rest of the trailer shows the rest of the "Losers Club" both as children and adults, as well as -- unsurprisingly -- a lot of red balloons. IT Chapter 2 is the followup to 2017's IT, which is the highest grossing horror film of all time. Will it measure up? You be the judge: watch the trailer below, and catch IT Chapter 2 when it hits theaters on September 6.
