Stevie Nicks has cast her spell on millions of fans for decades both in Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist, and next week will see her take a bow on her own at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

In honor of her solo induction, here are five things everyone should know about Stevie Nicks.

Nicks is the Rock Hall’s 23rd multiple inductee

Much has been made of Nicks being the first woman to be a multiple inductee, but she is only the 23rd multiple inductee in the Rock Hall’s history. The last Rock Hall induction class to feature a multiple inductee was 2017’s when Gregg Rolie was inducted with Journey. His first induction was in 1998 as a member of Santana.

More Rock Hall inductions than Grammys

Nicks has received eight Grammy nominations in her solo career but hasn’t racked up any wins.

Nicks has sold 30 million albums worldwide

Nicks has more than made a career for herself outside of Fleetwood Mac with eight studio albums and 30 million albums sold worldwide. Her most successful studio album is 1981’s Bella Donna, which has sold over four million copies in the U.S. alone.

Nicks’ style and mystique has led to an annual gathering of fans

This year will mark the 29th installment of the Night of 1000 Stevies, which the event’s official website summarizes as “celebration ne plus ultra - a riot of shawls, lace, baby's breath, twirling, tambourines and great performance.” A number of big names have performed at Night of 1000 Stevies including Debbie Harry, Cyndi Lauper and Boy George.

Nicks was honored by the USO for her time spent with recovering service members

In 2015, Nicks received the USO Achievement Award. She currently holds the USO record for “most hours spent over a five-year period visiting combat-wounded service members as part of USO-Metro’s celebrity handshake tours.” Nicks has also donated a number of pre-loaded iPods to service members as part of their recovery process.
