The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Fan Vote always seems to create interesting narratives, and for 2022, the emerging story is the feud between the fan bases of Duran Duran and Eminem.
Currently, Duran Duran and Eminem are in a neck-and-neck battle for the top spot on the fan vote ballot. As with previous years, the public has the opportunity to voice their choice via the Fan Vote at RockHall.com. Fans are allowed to vote once per day during the Fan Vote period which runs through April 30. Visitors of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland will also have the opportunity to vote in person. The "Fans' Ballot" will be comprised of the top five artists from the fan vote and will be counted among the other ballots filled out by various artists, historians, and music industry professionals.
Between Duran Duran fans appealing to the fanbases of Taylor Swift, BTS and One Direction for voting support and some Eminem fans creating new email accounts just to submit more votes, things are getting very heated.
