96.3 KKLZ loves to be involved in the local Las Vegas community. Mike & Carla, the super on-air duo, have been in the scene for 10 plus years and they know the city like the back of the their hands. We decided for summer ’23, why not surprise businesses with lunch catered by our friends, Port of Subs? They are the leading Vegas sandwich shop, so it only made sense. We reached out and they loved the idea!
We created a contest page which can be found HERE for locals to enter their businesses that are going above and beyond and deserve a little grub time. The FIRST business has been chosen! The really cool part? Mike & Carla hand deliver the trays of food directly to the winning business. So, not only do you get free food you also get to meet the local icons behind the mics. Friday, June 30, 2023, was our first stop and Enterprise Rent-A-Car was our very first winner! We went to the 9484 W. Lake Mead Blvd 89134 location and the winner Fred was beyond excited. Once he found at out that he won sandwiches for the office he was looking forward to the drop-off. We can confirm that his coworkers were also really excited as well.
