Nöthin’ But a Good Time: See The Trailer for New Paramount+ Hair Metal Docuseries
Nöthin’ But a Good Time is the latest docuseries from Paramount+, and it examines the wild era of hair metal in the 1980s.
The three-part docuseries is based on Tom Beaujour and Richard Bienstock’s 2021 book Nöthin’ but a Good Time: The Uncensored History of the ’80s Hard Rock Explosion. The docuseries adaptation was directed by Jeff Tremaine, who is best known for directing the Jackass movies and The Dirt, the 2019 Netflix film based on Mötley Crüe’s infamous memoir of the same title.
Several big names sat for new interviews including Bret Michaels, Stephen Pearcy, Nuno Bettencourt, Dave “Snake” Sabo, Riki Rachtman, Corey Taylor, Steve-O and more. Michaels said in a statement on the docuseries, “I’m excited for viewers to take a fresh look at the fans and bands, highs and lows, and to celebrate the music and good times of the ’80s and beyond. I hope the audience enjoys it as much as I did, and I can’t wait for them to have insight into some of those notoriously crazy moments!”
Nöthin’ But a Good Time premieres on Paramount+ on September 17.
Bret Michaels and His Heart-Warming Dog Adoption Story
Considering the Poison frontman gave a statement about Nöthin’ But a Good Time, we couldn’t help but remember how he adopted a dog named after him last year.
Dog Bret Michaels was a six-year-old husky who helped save a kitten’s life. The Nebraska Humane Society shared that this dog’s blood was used to provide a transfusion for a month-old kitten dealing with flea anemia. They wrote, in part, in the post below, “A round of ap-paws for Bret Michaels for being such a calm and brave boy, and to our vet team for their quick thinking. Little man is now on the road to recovery, and Bret Michaels is waiting patiently for his forever family!”
Rock star Bret Michaels then hears about this brave pooch, and he wanted to adopt him. The Nebraska Human Society wrote, in part, “We can’t wait to see how he thrives in his new home. We just hope it doesn’t get too confusing when someone tells Bret Michaels to fetch!”
Michaels shared photos of his new dog on Instagram. He captioned the photos, “He’s got everything that says – I’m Bret Michaels, A Husky, and I’ve been adopted by Bret Michaels, The Rockstar.”
What a seriously lucky dog and a wonderful story that always makes us smile!
