There’s a national day for almost all popular foods. The top foods include pizza, burgers, hotdogs, and spaghetti! We all love spaghetti made in so many different ways. Today, we celebrate you, you noodly goodness! It’s National Spaghetti Day!

Whether you’re a traditional sauce and noodle person or a person who loves a more hearty sauce with meat, we all enjoy the dish.

Did you know spaghetti is over one-thousand years old? It was first created in Europe as part of an invasion of culture and religion. Spaghetti is so loved that world records have been set and broken with it! The largest serving of spaghetti was made by Italian restaurant chain, Buca Di Peppo in Garden Grove, California! They filled a swimming pool of spaghetti noodles and sauce!

If you’re a true Italian and eat spaghetti, then you know you never use a spoon and fork to eat it. That was an American habit that spread. Italians simply used the side of the plate or bowl to help twirl it on their fork.

Now you’re well versed in Spaghetti history, you’re probably craving a plate or bowl of the amazing dish. Here is a list of some of the great spots to get it here in Vegas!
