The Mike & Carla Morning Show

The Las Vegas heat is here, and you need to cool off!

We knew it was coming, and it’s only going to get hotter and hotter in the Las Vegas Valley throughout the summer. The AC is going to be cranked for a while.

Lots of Las Vegas residents have pools, but many do not. So they’d like a way to cool off too. No need to worry, because several resorts around the Las Vegas Valley now allow area residents into their resort pool areas, and believe it or not — some even for free. What? FREE? In LAS VEGAS? Yes.

And honestly – you live in Las Vegas, so why not get out there and do what everyone else comes to Las Vegas to do! Grab a towel, a lounge chair, a Pina Colada, and take a load off, and relax at one of the luxurious pools!

Here are a few resort pools in Las Vegas that will let you in without a hotel reservation. There are different types of promotions offered to locals, so read through. And make sure you have your ID, because you will need to show proof of residency via that Nevada ID.

Pools with free admission:

Palms: Las Vegas locals who are 21 and up can get free admission to the Palms’ Soak pool daily.

Park MGM: Locals can get free admission to the Park MGM pool Mondays through Thursdays.

Tropicana Las Vegas: Locals can enter the Tropicana pool for free on weekdays. Take advantage, because the Tropicana will soon be no longer.

Red Rock: The Rouge Cabanas at Red Rock Casino, an adults-only poolside lounge with food, cocktails and entertainment, is open with free general admission Thursdays through Mondays.

Green Valley Ranch: The Pond, an adults-only poolside food and beverage lounge with live DJs on Saturday and Sunday, is free to adults.

Sahara Las Vegas: Sahara’s AZILO Ultra Pool is open daily to locals 21 and up.
