Sexiest Names For The New Year

If you are expecting and trying to figure out a name for your baby, please know that there is a new list out for sexiest names for the new year! The Mike & Carla Morning Show brought this up during a "Few MORE Things We Think You Should Know" segment this morning and you might be a little surprised at what is "sexy" now!

After reviewing romantic movies and novels, you would think that names like Sebastian, Dante or even Alejandro would have been in the running...or for women, Alessandra, Brooke, or even Carina! Well guess what? None of these on either side of the aisle were in the running as sexy names!

It actually turns out that the more common names tend to be considered "sexy"....however, "Mike" and "Carla", as common of a name as they are, were NOT on the list of sexy names! But according to a recent survey published by LoveHoney.com (a company that sells adult toys), it sounds much more like they were focusing on frequency and not as much exotic.

Ya see what were saying here? None of the above come across as real "hot" when talking names for guys! As for the women, not much better! So see, you just do you and you'll be fine...just when you thought "sexy" meant a name that sounded exotic, well it doesn't. So when they zig, you zig with them and stay in your lane.

So if you're having a kid, don't over think it, go with your instinct and stick with what you know...and if we've learned anything, sexy is more than just your name, it's who you are! This is the name in itself sounds nice, but one of the sexy actors associated with the name "Eva" is Mendes. For that reason alone, could be a good reason why this name came in at #5!

When you think of the name "Julia", most people will associate it with the last name "Roberts" and with good reason. With the name Julia, you can't go wrong and maybe just the reason this name comes in at #4 on the list!

Coming in at #3 on the list of "Sexiest Names for Women", it's "Kate"! Now there are a lot of celebrities with the name "Kate" and which ever one comes to mind, there is no doubt a sexy name...however, for us, it's Kate Hudson!

Once again, the name "Rachel" which some relate to a few different ones when it comes to books and the big screen, but we seem to think that Rachel McAdams might be why her first name came in at #2 on the list!

As simple as the name is, there are very few that when said, one person comes to mind and for us it was Mary Tyler Moore! Truly a classic "Mary" and at times very "Mary"! It might not be the sexiest name in the world, but according to the survey, MARY comes up #1!
