The 2022 Winter Olympics, officially the XXIV Olympic Winter Games begins on February 4, 2022, through February 20, 2022, in Beijing, China.

Las Vegas, Nevada is the opposite of cold. We don't really know what snow is but that's not to say snow doesn't exist. With the 2022 Winter Olympics right around the corner, we decided to get involved with winter the best way that we know how... through the television. We wanted to recognize and appreciate the winter athletes who were born or their hometowns residing on the "West Coast" representing TEAM USA.

What is considered "West Coast?" We're glad you asked. For this list, we included the number of athletes and any state that is left of the Rocky Mountains which includes Washington (4), Oregon (0), California (30), Utah (26), Arizona (2), Nevada (3), Idaho (0), Alaska (7), and the west side of Montana (1). We have two Las Vegas, Nevada resident olympian by the names of Chloe Kim and Kaysha Love, who will be cheering on in the Snowboard and Bobsleigh divisions. We are also here to support our neighboring states' Olympians as they make America proud.
