New Orleans –  The Big Easy! Perhaps now we know why.

A new study finds New Orleans is the number one new home for herpes. 20.4% of people who were tested in New Orleans tested positive for it.  That’s one in five, and about 30% higher than the national average of 15.7%.

Here’s a list you DON’T want your city on:  The website looked at HERPES rates in 34 different metropolitan areas.  Sadly, Las Vegas isn’t too far down the list but we are NOT number one! *whew*

Salt Lake City is number 2, at 19.2%.  Cincinnati number 3, 19.1% 4.Charlotte, 19%, 5. Orlando, 19%, 6. San Francisco, 7. Las Vegas, 8. St. Louis, 9. Portland, Oregon, 10. Dallas-Fort Worth.
