I went to see The Gin Blossoms at Green Valley Ranch over the weekend. Two words: AWE-SOME!

There are certain albums that define each decade, and certain albums that define YOUR particular decade. One of the albums that defined the 90's for me was The Gin Blossoms "New Miserable Experience." The album was released in 1992 when I was living with my two best friends, and everyday was an absolute blast, and just about everyday we played this cassette — which we, of course, all shared. For the record, they (Lynn and Monica) are still my two besties, and will be forever.

Music very much tied us together. Along with doing comedy, I was also in a part time band. Yours truly sang some Melissa Etheridge, REM, U2 (yes, U2's "All I Want Is You"). It's amazing the memories that music evokes. When I hear anything from "New Miserable Experience" I am immediately transported back to 1992, and my flannel - tied around my waist - and my Docs Martens.

Hope you enjoy this "concert" as much as I did. Here's to the 90's!
