  The band took the fictional name of “The BC-52’s” in the film The Flintstones in 1994.  This song peaked at #3 on the Billboard dance chart and reached #33 on the Hot 100.

  Here’s the highest charting single from the band’s second studio album Wild Planet.

• 3) Rock Lobster

  Here’s the new wave song that launched the band’s career in 1978.  It was also included on the band’s debut album The B-52’s.

• 2) Roam

  The B-52’s long-time guitarist, Ricky Wilson, passed away in 1985.  Their 1989 comeback album, Cosmic Thing, became their most successful album, including two Top 10 singles, including this one, which peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 1990.

• 1) Love Shack

  The B-52’s first top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100.  It peaked at #3 in 1989 and is considered their signature song.  It was named as one of the “365 Songs of the Century” in 2001.
