Just when you thought this should be the time of holly jolly Christmas time...we come to find out that more and more "holiday" injuries are happening! What is going on? That's why The Mike & Carla Morning Show brought this up and to find out who is getting injured!

According to a recent article published by ValuePenguin, 30% of Americans say they've been injured during holiday-related activities. And the most common injury seems to be people cutting themselves while wrapping or opening gifts.

It could be as simple as a cut or falling off the ladder putting up the lights on the outside of the house. Which by the way happened to Mike O'Brian last season and was heard saying, "...this would will be the last time I put up the lights!" Carla Rea still can't understand why Mike doesn't have someone else do it, "...you're MIKE O'BRIAN for cryin' out loud!"

Some injuries have been serious to where folks have had to be rushed to the ER at the local hospital! Okay, let's all slow down, take a breath and decorate smarter people! So, The M&C Morning Show opened up the text and phone lines to get a handle on how people are getting so hurt.

From trying to top off the Christmas tree to putting up lights around the house, inside and out, people are falling by the way side and getting themselves injured! So that was the topic of conversation this morning, you just might want to listen to the segment from this morning and see how much you can relate. Whether it's you or someone you know, you better have the phone right by your side just in case you're the one getting the call. At least make sure to have gas in the car in case you have to make the speedy journey to the Quick Care!

Either way, check out the segment and then scroll down to see the Top 5 injuries people have during the holidays!...AND BE CAREFUL!
