Backpack Giveaway: Paul Powell Law Firm & Heinrich YMCA Team Up to Support Local Students

The Paul Powell Law Firm and the Heinrich YMCA are proud to once again come together to support Las Vegas families with their annual Backpack Giveaway—an event that helps students gear up for the new school year with confidence.

Join us on Friday, August 1st, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bill & Lillie Heinrich YMCA (4141 Meadows Lane).

This year, 500 backpacks will be given away—each one stuffed with essential school supplies like notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, and more. The goal is simple: to ease the financial burden for local families and ensure every child is equipped to learn and thrive in the classroom.

Important Reminder: Each child must be present to receive a backpack. This helps us ensure that the supplies go directly into the hands of students who need them most.

Whether you’re a parent preparing your kids for the upcoming school year, or you simply want to connect with local organizations making a difference, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
