Journey At Resorts World Las Vegas
July 15, 2022 08:00 PM - July 23, 2022 11:00 PM PDT
Resorts World Las Vegas
Legendary rock band Journey had an idea for a new show. Something special and out of the ordinary. And it had to be an exclusive residency. Obviously, they chose Las Vegas. Journey is coming to Resorts World Las Vegas for a limited engagement. And here’s the something different: they’re bringing along a special symphony orchestra for a one-of-a-kind show. You’ve heard your favorite Journey hits, like Don’t Stop Believin‘, Separate Ways, and Wheel In The Sky. But have you heard them backed by a symphony? Neither have we, and we’re excited.
The band line-up for these shows will be as follows: Founding member Neal Schon on lead guitar, Jonathan Cain on keys, Arnel Pineda on lead vocals, Deen Castronovo (Bad English 1987-1991; Journey 1998-2015) on drums and vocals, Todd Jensen on bass, and Jason Derlatka on keys and vocals.
And just sayin’….Derlatka sounds a lot like Steve Perry (check him out in the video below)!
There are lots of VIP packages being offered for this residency. Including the “Anyway You Want It” package with a seat in one of the first three rows. Or opt for a seat in one of the first 10 rows with the “Separate Ways” package. Both come with perks like VIP priority check-in and a separate VIP entrance. Not to mention red carpet digital photos and Journey-themed VIP merch. Other packages include the “Faithfully” package, in one of the first 20 orchestra rows, and the “Lights” package in rear orchestra seating.
Show dates:
July 2022: 15, 16, 22, 23 – Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm.
Tickets are on sale and can be purchased here.
You’ll, no doubt, hear this song at the show. It’s from their upcoming album Freedom (due to drop July 8, 2022).
The line-up has obviously changed since this, but Separate Ways will always live on.
Here’s Jason Derlatka covering Send Her My Love.
