History Of Event
The Clark County Fair & Rodeo crams thousands of people into the quaint town of Logandale. Starting out in 1965 as a small community event in Moapa Valley, the fair was originally called the “Moapa Valley Fair.” Eventually, the event expanded to be a county-wide fair in the 1980s and thus became the “Clark County Fair.”
The community held the first annual Clark County Fair in 1988, according to its website. From humble beginnings as a small event, the fair quickly bubbled and became bigger every years.
As the years passed, the fair transformed. A carnival midway, livestock show and rodeo were added within the fairgrounds. In 1997, the fair was renamed the “Clark County Fair & Rodeo” due to the popularity of the PRCA Rodeo.
Currently, the Clark County Fair Inc. operates the fair, and families are given the opportunity to have a day filled with fun and good memories each year!
